In my experience, I have learned that it is important to always find different ways of doing things. So, consult with those impacted by your work, and with those who are doing work like yours in far off places. It's also important to help others understand how things are connected, because decisions usually aren't made for the best interest of one individual or team. They are usually made for the collective operation of a department and a community.

With the job market as it is today, it has become increasingly more difficult to remain positive during the job search process. Although it may be difficult, your breakthrough is coming. Keep applying to those roles that align with your skills and values, and ensure that you are putting your best foot forward always. Tailor your resume to align with the jobs you are applying for and network as much as possible. Start building relationships with those that are in your field of choice and utilize those relationships so that you can continue to grow and develop.

Each day can be unpredictable. Sometimes, being able juggle the multiple hats we wear is the challenge. Understanding the resources available to you and using them to the best of your ability is key to being able to manage the day, rather than having the day manage you.
